Construction Site

Environmental Stewardship

"We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children."

The entire team at CD Hall Construction prides itself on many things like the quality of our work, the speed at which it is achieved, and the satisfaction of our customers. One of the most important aspects of our industry that we take special pride in is the way we act as stewards of the environment. While we are always compliant with erosion and sediment practices — silt fence, diversion ditches, sediment basins, site stabilization, etc. — we always go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that we impact the environment as little as possible. In order to do this,

  • We run 2017 and newer equipment to minimize emissions and virtually eliminate risks of leaks and spills.
  • We have spill kits in all our foreman trucks and broom trucks during dry weather to control dust.
  • We divert as much material from landfills as possible. We recycle and repurpose asphalt, concrete, metals, brush, logs, and topsoil. All materials hauled offsite are taken to properly permitted facilities. As such, we achieve one of our project goals: maximize recyclables.

The environment will be here much longer than any of us, so we want to take care of and steward it while we have our chance to enjoy it. We want to ensure the environment is just as beautiful for our children and all generations to come as it is today with clean air, clean water, and green grass.

It is our duty and delight to take care of the wonderful environment we have been given.
